24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting a number of HGV Class 1 drivers for a well-known client based in the Birmingham area (B46). Drivers will be working Monday to Friday with start times between 04:00 – 06:00 and 14:00 onwards doing 4-6 drops per shift with shifts lasting between 8-12 hours.
HGV Class 1 driver will be required:
- Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License
- No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
- Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
- Immediate starts available
- Paid 2 weeks training to be completed prior to commencing
- Delivering to pubs and restaurants, and RDCs around the UK
- Driver will be accompanied by drivers mate when needed
- Must be presentable in appearance
- Professional manner as customer facing
8-12 hour shifts, start time range is between 04:00 and 23:00. Temp-to-perm position for right candidate.
PAYE rates for HGV Class 1 driver:
- Basic rate Days £17.43 per hour
- Basic rate Nights £19.10 per hour
- OR rate after 46 weekly hours days £26.15 per hour
- OR rate after 46 weekly hours nights £28.65 per hour
