Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Print Technical Administrator to provide essential support to their Print Technical team. This is a hybrid role combining office administration (75%) with factory-based tasks related to checking, storage, and cleaning activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Check in plates on arrival from suppliers and other sites, cross-referencing with production lists to ensure all orders are complete.
- Manage plate-related administration, including:
- Opening delivery boxes and checking contents.
- Data entry of plate details into the system.
- Assigning detailed job pack information onto the system.
- Generating and attaching box labels.
- Storing plate boxes in racking (training provided for working at height).
- Processing repeat plate orders.
- Carrying out other administrative tasks as directed by the Print Manager.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring full compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Work to tight deadlines for plate management.
- Communicate any issues promptly to the relevant teams.
- Take initiative while ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Strong IT skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Flexible and adaptable to working in both office and factory environments.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
