24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers on behalf of our client in Bradford. We require Class 1 HGV Drivers to work on a full week basis. Working out of their RDC you will be trunking goods to client stores throughout the UK. On some of the deliveries, handball is required.
HGV Class 1 driver will require:
- Hold valid Class 1 / C+E License
- No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
- Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
- Minimum 6 months experience.
HGV Class 1 driver work will involve:
- Working for one of the fastest growing businesses in the Midlands, our client offers new modern trucks and opportunity to gain experience
- 40-55 hours per week (on average)
- Immediate start available
- 2 hour assessment required (unpaid)
- Induction (paid)
Class 1 HGV Driver will receive:
- PAYE Dynamic rates
- Days between 05:00 - 22:00 £17.90 per hour
- OT after 8.75h daily £26.85 per hour
- Nights between 22:00 - 04:00 £19.29 per hour
- Shift pattern: PM Monday to Friday start times between 15:00 - 21:00
- Weekly Pay - Every Friday
- 28 days accrued annual leave per annum (roughly 2.5 days a month)
