24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 ADR drivers on behalf of our client in Widnes (WA8). We require HGV Class 1 ADR drivers to work on an ongoing basis. Working out of their RDC, you will be trunking goods from depot to depot. It is in the Automotive industry with some general haulage work. Your day will generally consist of up to 1-4 drops per day. Shifts are Monday to Friday with start times between 20:00 - 23:00.

Class 1 HGV Drivers will require:

  • Hold a valid Class 1 / C+E License
  • No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
  • Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
  • ADR licence
  • Container experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience on Class 1

Class 1 HGV Drivers work will involve:

Class 1 HGV Drivers will receive:

  • PAYE Dynamic rates
  • FIRST 12 MONTHS
  • Day Rate - £15.95
  • OT after 8 Hours Days - £23.93
  • Night Rate (18:00 to 06:00) - £19.94
  • Night rate OT after 8 hours (18:00 to 06:00) - £27.91
  • AFTER 12 MONTHS
    • Day Rate - £18.76
    • OT after 8 Hours Days - £28.14
    • Night Rate (18:00 to 06:00) - £23.45
    • Night rate OT after 8 hours (18:00 to 06:00) - £32.83

    Driving assessment: This will take up 8 hours. The driving assessment will commence with a drug and alcohol test, followed by a theory test and then a driving test.

    Induction: You will be required to do onsite induction training. Induction training will consist of 'Safe Systems of Work' at your pace and other health and safety related topics. Once completed, you will have a vehicle familiarisation and a site walk around.
