24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV drivers for a well-known client based in the Crick area (NN6) - a multinational clothing, footwear and home products retailer. The client is a reputable high-street name dealing with clothing and furniture, providing a friendly environment for new pass Class 2 HGV drivers to start their career or progress within the business.
Drivers will be supported on all deliveries with a driver's mate. Work will be on a 4 on 2 off rota pattern including weekends.
Class 2 drivers will be required to:
- Hold a valid Class 2 / C License
- Have no more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
- Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
- Be available for immediate starts
- Work a 4 on 2 off shift pattern including weekends
- Handle home delivery of furniture
- Perform some furniture assembly work as required
- Maintain a presentable appearance
- Exhibit a professional manner as customer facing
- Undergo 2 days training prior to commencing work
All routes are double manned with a driver's mate.
PAYE rates for Class 2 HGV driver: £16.49 per hour
