24-7 Recruitment Services, acting as an Employment Business, are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Castle Donington DE74. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for work with a well-established and rapidly growing business in the East Midlands.
The HGV Class 1 Driver role will involve:
- Delivering to stores throughout the UK
- Securing loads using straps and bars
- Manual handling
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for store deliveries, trunking goods to client stores throughout the UK.
Available shifts are:
- 4 on 4 off days
- 4 on 4 off nights
- Monday to Friday Days (every other Saturday)
- Monday to Friday Nights (every other Saturday)
- Tuesday to Saturday Days
- Tuesday to Saturday Nights
- Sunday to Thursday Days
- Sunday to Thursday Nights
- Weekends only
HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a valid Class 1 / C+E licence
- Hold a valid Tacho Card and CPC
- Have no more than 6 points on your licence
- Have no DD, DR, TT or IN endorsements
- Be comfortable with manual handling and securing loads
Assessment: Approximately 3 hours (unpaid)
HGV Class 1 Driver PAYE dynamic rates are:
- Days £19.51 per hour
- Nights £21.82 per hour
- OT after 43.75 weekly hours £29.26 per hour
- Saturday £21.84 per hour
- Sunday £22.88 per hour
