## About the Role

247 Exceptional Care Ltd is looking for caring, reliable and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Hull. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults in their own homes and within the community, helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

## Key Responsibilities

  • Providing person-centred care and support to service users.
  • Supporting with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting where required.
  • Supporting with medication in accordance with care plans and company procedures.
  • Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition and hydration.
  • Supporting service users with household tasks and daily routines.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Supporting individuals to access the community and attend appointments or activities.
  • Following individual care plans and risk assessments.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential care records.
  • Reporting any concerns or changes in a service user's condition to the appropriate person.
  • Working in accordance with safeguarding, health and safety and infection-control procedures.

## Essential Requirements

  • Previous care or support work experience is desirable.
  • A caring, compassionate and respectful attitude.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach.
  • Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and person-centred care.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to complete required training and DBS checks.

**A driving licence and access to a vehicle may be required depending on the allocated care package and location.**
