Be the person who makes live events happen behind the scenes.
Love being organised? Thrive when no two days are the same? We’re looking for a proactive, people-focused Office Manager to keep our busy live events operation running smoothly.
At 24/7 Event Crew, the work behind the scenes is just as important as the show itself. You’ll coordinate crew, schedules, logistics and office operations, working closely with our teams, clients, venues and suppliers. It’s a varied, hands‑on role for someone who can bring calm and clarity to a fast-moving environment.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You’ll be at the centre of our Plymouth office, supporting multiple live projects and coordinating requirements for events involving up to 400 crew members. From planning ahead to handling last‑minute changes, your organisation and communication will help keep everything on track.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Build and manage availability, rotas and shift schedules for our event crew, freelancers and subcontractors.
- Respond to short-notice changes and crew call‑outs, using Parim to keep schedules accurate.
- Liaise with promoters, project managers, venues, clients and external suppliers.
- Coordinate transport, equipment hire and on‑site crew requirements across live projects.
Office operations & administration
- Keep day‑to‑day office activity organised, including correspondence, supplies and equipment inventories.
- Maintain clear records and help improve the way our processes run.
Finance, quality & compliance
- Support basic bookkeeping, invoice processing and expense tracking, including use of Xero.
- Maintain health and safety and compliance administration, and oversee continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Recruitment & onboarding
- Support crew job postings, vetting, onboarding, training coordination and personnel records.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Excellent organisation and the ability to juggle competing priorities without losing sight of the detail.
- A calm, practical approach when schedules change and deadlines are tight.
- Clear, confident communication with crew members, management, clients and suppliers.
- Comfort using spreadsheets and office systems; familiarity with Excel, Xero or Parim is useful.
- An understanding of live events, festivals, venues or staffing operations would be a strong advantage.
- Reliable, ambitious and genuinely enthusiastic about what we do. We value a strong work ethic and someone who wants to become a long-term part of the team. You don’t need to have every bit of industry experience if you bring the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
INTERESTED?
This is a full-time, office-based role at our Plymouth office, five days a week. Being on site is a key part of the job, as you’ll be the main point of contact for our crew, clients and management team, so we’re not able to offer remote or hybrid working for this position.
