Warehouse Operative in Uckfield

Pay Rate: £13.39 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Approximately 45 hours per week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm

Overtime: Weekend overtime available

About the Role

Our client, ACP Alexir Partnership, is looking for an experienced and reliable Warehouse Operative to join their team in Uckfield.

This is a hands-on role within a busy warehouse environment, supporting the smooth movement and preparation of stock for production. The successful candidate will work closely with the warehouse and production teams to ensure goods are handled safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Locating and moving specific items throughout the warehouse
• Preparing stock and materials for production lines
• Working closely with the production teams and running operatives
• Checking deliveries and collections for any damaged goods or stock and reporting issues appropriately
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
• Following warehouse procedures and health & safety requirements
• Carrying out manual handling duties as required

Skills & Experience Required

• Valid forklift truck licence
• Minimum 1 year’s previous warehouse experience
• Experience with manual handling
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach to work
