Purpose of the Role

This role is designed to build strong foundational experience in new business. The New Business Executive will be instrumental in keeping the function running smoothly while developing the skills and confidence to take on greater ownership of opportunities over time. The New Business Executive will play a vital supporting role within the agency’s new business function, helping to keep the pipeline active, organised, and responsive. Working closely with the New Business Manager, you will contribute to the successful delivery of the agency’s growth strategy by supporting day-to-day new business and prospecting activity and ensuring no opportunity is missed. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone starting their career in new business, marketing, or agency environments, who brings energy, curiosity, and a proactive mindset. This is a junior role for someone with recent agency experience (internship to 6 months or more within a creative, social, PR or Marketing agency environment), with a focus on supporting the team and building new business skills. Interest in purpose-led sectors and enthusiasm for working with charities, not-for-profits, or socially impactful organisations, and an eagerness to support purpose-driven new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Admin & Process Support: Provide general administrative support to the new business function, improving efficiency and ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Pitch Coordination Assistance: Support the New Business Manager and pitch teams on live opportunities by coordinating logistics, preparing materials, tracking deadlines, and ensuring smooth internal communication.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of opportunities, contacts, and activity within CRM systems and internal trackers.
  • Agency Collateral: Assist in keeping case studies, credentials decks, and boilerplate content up to date for high-quality materials.
  • Marketing Support: Support the new business and marketing teams with agency updates, promote agency activity across social channels, assist in planning and coordinating events, and help coordinate agency award entries.
  • Intermediary & Network Support: Help maintain relationships with key intermediaries and contacts (e.g., online platforms, procurement contacts).
  • Opportunity Monitoring & Research: Regularly track new business portals, industry sources, and inbound enquiries to identify potential opportunities.
  • Lead Qualification Support: Assist in early-stage qualification of opportunities by gathering key information to determine alignment with agency strengths and priorities.
