About the Role: We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team and help improve the quality of life for adults with learning disabilities & neurodiversity, older age adults & adults facing Homelessness and housing support in Edinburgh and the surrounding Lothian areas. As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support, enabling individuals to live as independently as possible, while fostering an environment of dignity and respect. You will work alongside a dedicated team to support the individual’s emotional, social, and physical needs, helping them to participate in daily activities, develop life skills, and build meaningful relationships. Key Responsibilities: * Provide support to adults in their daily lives, both in their own homes and in community settings. * Assist with personal care, health and safety, and maintaining a clean living environment. * Encourage and promote independence, choice, and control for the individuals in your care. * Support individuals to access activities, education, and employment opportunities, ensuring a fulfilling and active lifestyle. * Help with the development and implementation of care plans, reviewing progress and making necessary adjustments. * Build strong, supportive relationships with individuals, families, and other professionals. * Work as part of a team to ensure a high standard of care and support is maintained at all times.
