About the Role:
We’re looking for a motivated Project Worker to support young people in our Live & Work tenancies and the local community. You’ll help them gain independent living skills, access employment, and achieve their goals. You’ll provide 1:1 and group support, complete support plans and risk assessments, and coordinate with partners to ensure each young person receives high-quality care.
This is a full-time (35 hours per week) fixed-term role until 31 March 2026, with continuation subject to funding. The position offers autonomy and variety, combining home and community-based work in Perth. As a Project Worker directly with young people, and make a real impact while developing your leadership skills in social care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver practical, emotional, and social support using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach.
- Support young people to manage their homes, build confidence, and move towards employment.
- Maintain accurate records, support plans, and risk assessments.
- Participate in the on-call rota and help manage referrals and placements.
- Work with colleagues and partners to deliver effective, person-centred support.
About You:
- Qualified (or working towards) SSSC registration as a Supervisor in a Housing Support Service.
- Experience supporting young people facing homelessness, mental health, or isolation challenges.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and IT skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- (Desirable) Experience supervising others, trauma-informed practice, or managing projects.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car preferred
