The 21 Group are currently seeking an experienced Part-Qualified Accountant to join a busy office in Perth. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of a respected building services company.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Assisting with the financial oversight of the business, contributing to effective planning and management.
- Preparing management accounts, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
- Collaborating with the Financial Controller to build budgets, forecast income, and manage cashflow.
- Keeping a forward-focused perspective on all financial activity.
- Supporting annual audits and ensuring compliance with statutory reporting, VAT, CIS, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinating with external financial advisors as needed.
- Supervising core finance functions, including payroll, credit control, invoicing, and supplier payments.
Essential/Desirable Skills and Attributes:
- Strong background in management accounting with the ability to handle a varied workload.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and keen attention to detail.
- Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business.
