Your purpose will be: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef to join our 5-star culinary team. You will be responsible for creating a memorable breakfast service, delivering both traditional and innovative dishes that showcase the quality and provenance of our ingredients.
Job Description
- Prepare and present breakfast dishes to the highest standard, including hot and cold items, pastries, baps, and Grab & Go options.
- Manage section mise en place and ensure all ingredients are fresh, labelled, and stored correctly.
- Maintain the highest levels of food hygiene, kitchen safety, and presentation standards.
- Assist in menu planning, contributing creative ideas and seasonal inspiration.
- Monitor stock levels and collaborate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Lead, train, and mentor junior kitchen staff during breakfast service.
- Ensure smooth service and coordination with front-of-house teams.
Please note that we believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef in a 4/5-star hotel or luxury property.
- Strong knowledge of high-quality ingredients and modern breakfast techniques.
- Ability to produce consistently excellent dishes under pressure.
- Familiarity with HACCP, food hygiene, and health & safety standards.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Passion for creativity, presentation, and delivering luxury guest experiences.
