We’re looking for a commercially minded Cost Analyst to support costing, margin analysis, inventory control and financial reporting. You’ll also play a key role in improving processes, maximising the use of Sage 200 and supporting the implementation of Lucanet for local and Group reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop standard costing models.
  • Analyse manufacturing costs, product margins and variances.
  • Review labour, material and overhead costs.
  • Support stock reconciliations, valuations, counts and discrepancy investigations.
  • Produce monthly cost reports, KPIs and profitability analysis.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, transport and purchasing teams.
  • Drive process improvements and support system enhancements in Sage 200.
  • Transfer data from Sage 200 into Lucanet and support Group reporting.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience within the role or similar.
  • Strong understanding of costing principles and inventory accounting.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Sage 200 and Lucanet (including mapping ERP data to Group COA).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) desirable.

  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
