We’re recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise warehouse operations across multiple UK sites. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, margin-sensitive environment and can balance stock flow, cost control and high service levels across a complex, high-SKU operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage and dispatch
  • Manage large SKU ranges across multiple brands and product segments
  • Drive performance against KPIs including OTIF, pick accuracy and throughput
  • Maintain high stock accuracy and oversee container intake from ports and suppliers
  • Coordinate nationwide distribution and optimise transport planning
  • Lead and develop Warehouse Managers and site teams, promoting a performance-led culture
  • Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations and maintain high safety standards
  • Manage operational budgets with a strong focus on cost control
  • Drive continuous improvement across warehouse processes and WMS systems
  • Collaborate with sales, purchasing and finance to align operational output with business needs

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a multi-site warehouse or logistics leadership role
  • Strong understanding of container imports, port logistics and high-volume stock flow
  • Experience managing large SKU ranges and seasonal demand
  • Confident leader with the ability to develop and motivate teams
  • Commercially aware within a competitive, price-sensitive market
  • Proficient with WMS and stock control systems
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
