We're pleased to be recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/Production Operative to join our clients established team based near Brownhills. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, well-respected manufacturing business producing high-quality components.

Key responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently
  • Change offsets, inserts and carry out basic machine maintenance
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ensure stock is put away correctly
  • Assist with incoming/outgoing orders and deliveries
  • Use a range of measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, ring gauges, plug gauges, shadow graph and height gauges
  • Complete all required paperwork such as Work Orders and quality control charts
  • Conduct in-process quality checks and record results
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience operating CNC machinery
  • Confident with offsets, tooling changes and routine maintenance
  • Strong understanding of measurement and inspection tools
  • Competent with production paperwork and quality documentation
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality
  • Reliable, team-focused attitude

Working hours (39 per week):

  • Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm
  • Friday 07.30am - 12.30pm
