We're currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our clients busy internal sales team from their HQ. Our client, a market leader within their industry, are one of the fastest-growing wholesalers in Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic business at the forefront of its industry, where your leadership and commercial insight will directly shape growth and customer success.

Role Overview: You’ll be responsible for leading and developing the internal sales team to maximise revenue, strengthen customer relationships and deliver on sales targets. This role plays a key part in aligning sales operations with their wider commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Management
    • Lead, coach and motivate the internal sales team
    • Set performance objectives and conduct regular reviews
    • Manage team workload and priorities
  • Sales & Business Development
    • Drive new business and nurture existing accounts
    • Oversee quotations, pricing and order accuracy
    • Promote cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Build strong relationships with key clients
    • Ensure timely handling of enquiries and after-sales support
    • Resolve escalated issues professionally
  • Operational & Commercial Support
    • Monitor pipeline, forecasting and reporting
    • Ensure CRM data is accurate and insightful
    • Collaborate with external sales, marketing and operations
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify process improvements to boost efficiency
    • Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity
    • Contribute to strategic planning and commercial initiatives
