We’re actively recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to support our clients continued growth and technical excellence based in Burntwood on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components for manufacturing processes
  • Support production teams with technical expertise and troubleshooting
  • Improve existing machinery and processes to enhance efficiency and safety
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development and testing
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including CAD drawings and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Working hours - 37 per week (DAY SHIFT ONLY):

  • Monday to Friday - start time can be discussed
