We’re actively recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to support our clients continued growth and technical excellence based in Burntwood on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for manufacturing processes
- Support production teams with technical expertise and troubleshooting
- Improve existing machinery and processes to enhance efficiency and safety
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development and testing
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including CAD drawings and specifications
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function
Experience & Skills Required:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Working hours - 37 per week (DAY SHIFT ONLY):
- Monday to Friday - start time can be discussed
