We're currently seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations and support the continued growth of our client's business. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on HR work, employee support and process improvement, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance through part-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all day-to-day HR operations, acting as the first point of contact for employees and managers
  • Manage recruitment processes including job adverts, shortlisting, interviews and onboarding
  • Support managers with employee relations, performance management and absence management
  • Maintain accurate HR records, contracts and documentation
  • Lead on policy updates and best-practice HR processes
  • Coordinate training, development and appraisal cycles
  • Provide guidance on HR legislation
  • Support payroll with monthly HR-related information
  • Drive positive culture initiatives and employee engagement activities
  • Handle any ad-hoc HR projects as required

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in an HR Manager, HR Advisor or similar role
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Confident handling employee relations and supporting managers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • CIPD Level 5 (preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Able to work independently and manage a varied workload

Working hours:

Monday to Friday (25-30 hours per week)
