We are actively recruiting for a Brake Press Setter/Operator to join our client's busy team based in Tamworth. For a complete understanding of this opportunity, and what will be required to be a successful applicant, read on.
This role involves working as part of the production team to deliver high quality components, mainly for the rail industries, with a right first time philosophy.
- The successful Press Brake Setter must have previous experience working with Amada brake presses.
- You will be able to demonstrate that you can produce components from drawing/planning route cards to the highest quality, and within the routed time.
- Show a proactive and innovative approach to supporting the team, thrive on problem solving and have a natural desire to contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
- You will be able to interpret technical drawings and use hand-held inspection equipment such as height gauges and vernier calipers.
Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm
- Friday 7am-12pm
