The predicted salary is between 17 - 17 £ per hour.
We are looking to add an experienced CNC Turner to our well established clients team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on precision components, takes pride in quality and can confidently programme, set and operate modern turning centres.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes
- Creating and modifying programmes (Fanuc & Heidenhain advantageous)
- Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
- Selecting tooling, workholding and machining methods
- Performing first-off and in-process inspections
- Ensuring components meet strict tolerance and quality requirements
- Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient work area
- Working collaboratively with the wider production team
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven CNC turning experience (programming essential)
- Knowledge of Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls beneficial
- Ability to work from technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
Working hours (39 per week):
- Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30
- Friday 08:00-15:30
