We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller who can confidently programme, set and operate modern machining centres. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently on precision components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Creating, editing and optimising programmes (Heidenhain & Fanuc advantageous)
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures and machining methods
- Carrying out first-off inspections and ensuring parts meet tight tolerances
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Working collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven CNC milling experience (programming essential)
- Knowledge of Heidenhain and/or Fanuc controls beneficial
- Ability to work from technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Working hours (39 per week):
- Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30
- Friday 08:00-15:30
