We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller who can confidently programme, set and operate modern machining centres. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently on precision components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
  • Creating, editing and optimising programmes (Heidenhain & Fanuc advantageous)
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures and machining methods
  • Carrying out first-off inspections and ensuring parts meet tight tolerances
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Working collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines

Requirements:

  • Proven CNC milling experience (programming essential)
  • Knowledge of Heidenhain and/or Fanuc controls beneficial
  • Ability to work from technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus

Working hours (39 per week):

  • Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30
  • Friday 08:00-15:30
