212 Recruitment is currently supporting a well established engineering company in their search for an experienced CNC Lathe Setter/Operator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit team producing high quality components in small batch quantities.
Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC lathes with precision and efficiency
- Program using conversational controls (Fanuc Guide i and Haas)
- Manufacture small batch quantities (typically 1-20 off)
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Work in line with ISO quality standards
- Use and interpret precision measuring and inspection equipment
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Assist with light assembly tasks when required
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines
- Utilise Fusion 360 for programming and design tasks
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in CNC turning
- Proven ability as a CNC lathe setter/operator
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
- Good work ethic and a positive, proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
Working hours
Monday to Friday 8am-4pm + overtime
