We're currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer Setter to join our client's busy team based in Telford. Our client is a leading manufacturer of precision components. We're looking for an experienced CNC Programmer Setter to produce high-quality products to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set, and operate CNC machines (Turning and/or Milling)
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality
- Conduct first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment
- Troubleshoot and correct machining issues in real time
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards on the shop floor
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven experience in CNC programming and setting
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Flexibility to work independently or as part of a team
