We’re looking for an experienced Production Welder to join our well established client's team based in Burntwood. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day fabrication of metal components, working with a range of workshop machinery and tools to produce high-quality finished products.
Experience Required:
- Experience using pillar drills, band saws, welding machinery and other workshop tools
- Confident working with metal fabrication tools
- Ability to read and follow basic technical drawings
- TIG/MIG Welding experience would be advantageous
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Good understanding of workplace safety procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating pillar drills, band saws, grinders and other production equipment
- Cutting, drilling and preparing metal components for assembly
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure all products meet specification
- Supporting wider production tasks as required
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00
