We are actively recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our clients busy team on a permanent basis.
About the Role:
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in keeping our clients machinery running smoothly, ensuring product quality, and minimising downtime through proactive maintenance and rapid response to breakdowns. Your work will directly support the production targets and contribute to a safe, efficient and profitable operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance across a range of machinery
- Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Promote and apply good engineering practices to ensure a safe working environment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department
- Maintain accurate records in line with company quality systems
- Work collaboratively with production teams to meet output targets
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and company standards
What You’ll Bring:
- Completed apprenticeship in an engineering discipline
- Formal engineering qualification (e.g. ONC or equivalent)
- BS7671 18th Edition certification
- Multi-skilled experience within a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Working hours - 37 per week (DAY SHIFT ONLY):
- Monday to Friday - start time to be discussed
