We are actively looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. In this role you will be responsible for building rapport with new and existing clients, ranging from sole traders to the MD/CEO of a large organisation, and working closely with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives.
Responsibilities
- Building rapport with new and existing clients, winning new business, and maintaining long‑lasting B2B relationships.
- Developing business through marketing, community engagement, networking, and client meetings.
- Identifying and exploring new business opportunities to drive the best possible outcome for our clients.
- Advising clients on products and solutions, actively listening and questioning effectively, and finding a path to yes.
Qualifications
- Experience winning new business and building long lasting B2B relationships.
- Passion for developing business through marketing, community engagement, networking, and client meetings.
- Tenacious with a business curiosity to identify and explore new opportunities.
- Willingness to learn, as each client will be different.
