We are actively looking for an Insurance Advisor to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. About you: You will enjoy conversations with people, listening and building relationships to understand client requirements. You have strong problem-solving skills and can create tailor-made solutions. We look for individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for the subject area, including interests such as equine insurance, campervans, motorhomes, classic cars, motorbikes, marine, and fine art. We promote from within and provide the tools and support needed to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients through conversations, listen actively, and build relationships to understand their requirements.
  • Develop tailor-made insurance solutions, recognizing that there is no “one size fits all” approach.
  • Work with clients to provide the best insurance solutions based on their needs.
  • Utilise on-site training, workshops, coaching, and support to pursue industry qualifications.

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • No previous experience required; on-site training, workshops, coaching, and support through industry qualifications are provided.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
  • Passion and entrepreneurial mindset; ambition to grow within the organisation; interest in insurance specialties (e.g., equine, campervans, motorhomes, classic cars, motorbikes, marine, fine art).
  • Ambition to progress; ability to build rapport quickly and deliver client-focused solutions.
