About the Role

We are actively looking for an Insurance Advisor to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful organisation, where you will be provided with full training on the job and the opportunity to gain industry recognised qualifications. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, listening to understand their requirements.
  • Develop tailor‐made insurance solutions for each unique client, avoiding a one‐size‐fits‐all approach.
  • Provide clients with the best solution and support throughout the sales process.

Qualifications

  • Problem‐solving skills – ability to create unique solutions for clients.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for the subject (e.g., equine insurance, campervans, motorhomes, classic cars, motorbikes, marine, fine art).
  • Experience in a sales role desirable but not required; we provide on‐site training, workshops, coaching and support through industry qualifications.
  • Ambitious and driven to succeed; ability to build rapport quickly.
