About the Role

We are actively looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. In this role you will be responsible for building rapport with new and existing clients, reviewing client documentation, maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, assisting Commercial Account Executives in retention, and processing data promptly on relevant systems.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport with new and existing clients ranging from sole traders to CEOs.
  • Review client documentation to ensure comprehensive and accurate information for the quoting process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and external contacts to meet expectations and compliance standards.
  • Assist Commercial Account Executives in achieving high renewal retention while exceeding customer expectations and meeting FCA requirements.
  • Process data promptly and accurately on relevant systems to support high levels of client service, internal process execution, and informed analysis.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, clients and external contacts.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to daily changes.
  • Experience in supporting high levels of renewal retention and meeting regulatory requirements is desirable.
