ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced Web Project Manager to join a dynamic digital marketing agency based in Leeds. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Management: Manage end-to-end web development projects, including website launches, redesigns, and updates.
- Scope & Timeline Management: Create clear project plans, defining objectives, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact between clients, development teams, and stakeholders to align expectations.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring financial control and timely reporting on project financials.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, content creators, and SEO specialists.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee testing and validation before site launches, ensuring all technical and performance issues are resolved.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address issues to maintain timelines.
- Client Relations: Build strong client relationships to understand business needs and translate them into actionable project tasks.
- Post-Launch Support: Manage post-launch activities, ensuring seamless transitions and ongoing support where required.
- Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to recommend additional services that can enhance clients' web projects.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Web Project Manager or similar role with a successful track record of delivering web projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of web technologies, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify), HTML/CSS, and SEO best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively address project challenges.
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Click Up), collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Microsoft 360, Google Workspace), and CMS systems.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Prince 2 Qualification
- SEO knowledge and understanding
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
- Previous agency experience
- Experience with wireframing tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Relume
- Understanding of Git or other version control systems
- Knowledge of accessibility standards for inclusive web design
