20Twenty Search is retained by an established ILS fund to identify an ILS Analyst to join their team. The incumbent will work as part of a talented team, carrying out analytics of various deal types across catastrophe bonds and private ILS transactions. This role will suit a candidate from the ILS industry seeking to further their experience, along with a reinsurance pricing actuary or catastrophe modeller (reinsurance focus).
Key skills held in high regard will be candidates who have one or a mix of the following:
- Run catastrophe models and use model outputs to make interpretations and conduct further analytics
- Possess strong programming skills (SQL / Python / R)
- Have strong reinsurance pricing experience across catastrophe lines of business (treaty / proportional)
- Have some exposure to the ILS sector
