Project Overview
We are looking for a Site Manager (No.1) to oversee a £4m townhouse refurbishment / fit‐out in Knightsbridge, starting 2nd Feb 2026. The scheme is carefully designed, sensibly structured and fully funded. The scope is defined, the drawings are coordinated, and the programme reflects reality rather than optimism. The works include a new external lift shaft, orangery, roof works and high‐quality internal finishes – designed for sequencing, patience, and a site that runs to plan. There are no major structural works, no heroic temporary solutions, and no weekly re‐interpretation of what was agreed at tender.
Responsibilities
- Lead the project day‐to‐day, reporting directly to the Contracts Manager.
- Maintain control, coordinate effectively, and ensure high‐quality delivery throughout the project.
- Treat Health & Safety as routine, not a campaign.
- Ensure quality is met throughout, not discovered at handover.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience delivering high‐end residential fit‐outs, ideally in Prime Central London.
- Comfortable operating independently as Site No.1 and understanding that the best sites tend to be quiet ones.
- SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS (Black or Gold) certificates required.
