We are seeking a Construction Project Manager, with extensive experience in Joinery and a strong background delivering London-based commercial office Cat B fit out projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full construction lifecycle of high-quality office fit out projects - from site mobilisation through to handover - ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. A strong technical understanding of joinery and interior construction is essential, alongside proven project management capability within the fast-paced London commercial fit out market.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for programme, cost, quality, and safety on site.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour, with particular focus on joinery and interior trades.
- Chair and manage site meetings, progress meetings, and client updates.
- Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Monitor and control project budgets, variations, and commercial performance in conjunction with the commercial team.
- Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes and short-term look-aheads.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and company policies.
- Act as the main point of contact for the client, consultants, and building management teams.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Time-served and/or formally qualified joiner.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the London commercial office Cat B fit out sector.
- Demonstrable experience delivering high-quality office interiors in live or occupied buildings.
- Strong technical knowledge of interior construction, joinery, drylining, ceilings, flooring, and finishes.
- Excellent understanding of construction programmes, sequencing, and logistics in constrained London sites.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
