About the project
A successful principal contractor is looking for a Freelance Senior Site Manager who enjoys organised chaos, doesn’t panic at a full RFI inbox, and knows their way around an internals package. This is a new build student accommodation project, currently at 1st fix, moving into the fit out of 80 bedrooms and communal areas.
What you’ll be doing
- Running the internals like a calm professional
- Managing subcontractors and keeping everyone pointed in the same direction
- Dealing with RFIs, technical queries and the inevitable "while we’re here..." requests
- Quality control — because "that’ll do" isn’t good enough
- Keeping programmes, paperwork and IT systems tidy
- Able to spot issues before they become site legends
