Freelance Site Manager – Façade Remediation
Location: Cambridge
Rate: £250 - £300 per day
Start Date: 2nd March 2026
Contract Duration: 10 months
A principal contractor is currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager with a strong background in Facade Remediation to join a live project in Cambridge. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a £1.5m facade remediation project, overseeing subcontractors, programme, and health & safety. The role is fully site-based and reports into a Contracts Manager who will attend site on a weekly basis. The project is starting on 2nd March and will run until Christmas.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within Facade Remediation
- Strong experience managing live sites
- Confident overseeing subcontractors, programme, QA and H&S
- Experience using Viewpoint and Field View systems (essential)
- Bases within an hour of Cambridge
