We are instructed by our well-regarded, full-service law firm client to appoint a Residential Property Solicitor (or CILEX/Licensed Conveyancer) into their collaborative and client-centric residential conveyancing practice based in Reading.
About the Opportunity
This is a key hire for a highly ranked regional firm with a strong foothold in the South East. You’ll be joining a personable and supportive team that punches above its weight, with an excellent reputation for service and speed of delivery. Their Residential Property group handles a full mix of quality conveyancing work, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
- Voluntary first registrations
- Lease extensions and residential title matters
Each transaction is supported by both a dedicated lawyer and assistant—allowing for a highly personalised and efficient client service, and enabling you to focus on quality, not volume. The firm invests heavily in technology with a fully electronic case management system. Flexibility is embraced, though the expectation is a hybrid model with 4 days per week in the Reading office.
Candidate Profile
We’d love to speak with residential property lawyers who:
- Are qualified as a Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEX) or Licensed Conveyancer
- Have solid transactional experience across the conveyancing lifecycle

- Are commercially minded and keen to contribute to business development
Whether you’re looking to step up into a more autonomous role or want to move away from volume-driven conveyancing, this role offers a refreshing alternative in a friendly, stable and client-led environment.
