A specialist joinery and fit-out contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in joinery to oversee the successful delivery of joinery and installation works across multiple London-based projects. The role requires strong leadership, excellent site coordination skills, and a proactive approach to Health & Safety, quality, and programme management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations on multiple joinery installation projects across London.
  • Manage the delivery of joinery packages, ensuring high-quality installation in line with drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate site logistics, sequencing of works, labour management, and subcontractor activities to maintain programme.
  • Apply strong joinery knowledge to support site teams, resolve technical issues, and ensure accurate, high-quality installation.
  • Review drawings, details, and specifications to ensure correct interpretation and buildability.
  • Liaise with workshop, design, and production teams to clarify details, track manufacturing progress, and manage deliveries to site.
  • Monitor installation quality to ensure all works meet required standards and client expectations.
  • Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within joinery, fit-out, or interior installation.
  • Strong technical understanding of bespoke joinery installation and associated trades.
  • Strong knowledge of H&S requirements on construction sites (SMSTS/SSSTS preferred).
  • Full right to work in the UK.
