Our Team

We have an exciting opportunity within Business Operations for a Front-Line Manager to come join us. If you’re passionate about providing great service, enjoy managing large teams and are willing to do what it takes to deliver for our customers, please read on.

As a Front-Line Manager, you will be leading and directing an operational group of colleagues, consisting of 1 team. The key focus of this role will be ensuring your teams delivers on customer focused objectives and targets aimed at providing truly brilliant customer experiences.

You’ll have the drive to deliver results and continually look to improve colleague performance. You will coach, develop, and manage colleagues, enabling them to achieve objectives and team and personal goals. To succeed you’ll need the ability to motivate others, challenge colleagues to continually improve and strive to fulfil their potential.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing and supporting a team of colleagues day to day promoting strong performance and helping colleagues to develop
  • Pro-actively seeking ideas to improve work and reduce cost through continuous improvement
  • Creating short to medium term plans focused on identifying capacity and managing resource to best meet customer demands
  • Leading and promoting a Continuous Improvement culture to increase operational effectiveness
  • Ensuring teams always work to the relevant risk and regulatory guidelines
  • Regularly reviewing MI for core performance of colleagues to allow effective performance management
  • Promoting and supporting the wellbeing of colleagues

We need you to have

  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing, coaching and supporting team members to achieve strong performance.
  • Demonstrable experience of short to medium term planning, including identifying capacity requirements and managing resources to meet customer demand.
  • Evidence of building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, with examples of engaging and working effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Practical experience managing HR processes, including absence management and applying people policies
  • A clear commitment to delivering excellent customer service, with examples of driving a positive customer experience
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, managing competing priorities in a fast paced operational environment.
  • Strong organisation and administrative skills, with a track record of delivering tasks accurately and within required timescales.
  • Knowledge of risk and regulatory guidelines
