Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 5:00pm; Friday 8:30am – 3:45pm (45‑minute lunch)
Hybrid Working: Following training, 3 days office‑based and 2 days working from home
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Holiday Entitlement: 29 days
This role will play a key part in managing and reconciling intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely financial reporting. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, managing subledger activities and meeting demanding reporting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Accounts Payable team to clear a backlog of invoices.
- Reconcile AP invoices against purchase orders and goods receipts, identifying and resolving any price, quantity or posting discrepancies.
- Investigate unmatched or partially matched invoices and liaise with procurement, operations and intercompany partners to resolve issues.
- Ensure reconciled invoices are accurately and promptly posted within the Glovia ERP system.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce future reconciliation backlogs and strengthen AP controls.
- Manage and reconcile intercompany balances, ensuring timely settlement in line with month‑end reporting deadlines.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist with month‑end close activities and reporting requirements as required.
- Previous experience in an Accountant, Intercompany Accountant or similar finance role.
- Strong Accounts Payable and reconciliation experience.
- Experience working with ERP systems, ideally Glovia.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other finance‑related systems.
