Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer position in Dundee with a salary of up to £55k plus overtime and benefits package. This is a permanent position ideally suited for candidates with previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

As the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will cover all planned maintenance, breakdowns, new projects, and installations. You will be expected to diagnose any faults and ensure these are resolved in a timely manner.

During the months of October to June, the Maintenance Team works Monday to Friday dayshift from 07:30 – 16:30 with a 14:00 finish on a Friday. From July to September, you will be required to move onto 12-Hour Shifts on a 4 Days On / 1 Day Off, 4 Nights On / 3 Days Off Rotation.

Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on production equipment and site services
  • Fault-finding across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Supporting the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and equipment
  • Identifying opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and equipment performance

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A recognised apprenticeship or qualification in electrical, mechanical, or maintenance engineering
  • Experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
  • Strong fault-finding skills across both electrical and mechanical systems
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with production teams
