We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our Sales team. We are growing rapidly and we are looking for someone that is experienced in closing sales. We are proudly working with accounting firms and finance professionals providing technical training, practical tax support, practice management, marketing content and much more. We help firms grow their client base, advise their clients, expand their service offerings and prosper in the changing environment.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be set up for success. You will get warm leads coming from our Sales Development team and our Marketing team, but what makes the difference is what you do with them. You will make the discovery call, the demo, the follow up, and get the deal over the line.
If you have experience in sales and you are the person that your team turns to when a deal needs closing then we would love to hear from you.
You will be responsible for:
- The full sales cycle from warm intro to signed member
- Running consultations and membership demos
- Hitting and exceeding your targets
- Keeping HubSpot clean and your pipeline honest
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience with the numbers to evidence it
- A proven track record of closing deals, not just building pipeline
- A consultative approach — you ask the right questions before you pitch
- Strong organisational skills and CRM discipline (HubSpot is desirable)
- Someone who is motivated by targets, not stressed by them
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal — you’re confident in any room
- Someone who takes ownership, doesn’t need to be managed, and finds the next move themselves
- An understanding of the accounting and finance sector is a bonus but not essential
What do we offer?
- Competitive salary with uncapped commission
- Hybrid working (Tue-Thurs in office, Mon & Fri - wfh)
- Warm lead flow from day one — your main job is closing!
- A collaborative, supportive team that wants you to win
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays with an additional 3 days given by the Company usually for a Christmas closure
- Wellness and social benefits including Cashplan, Employee Assistance Programme, Team Volunteering Day and Away Day
- Option to buy or sell annual leave
- Pension scheme
- Access to employee discounts, vouchers and cashback
- A company that genuinely invests in your personal and professional development
We’re looking to move quickly on this hire and hope to bring the right person on board soon. Our selection process includes three steps, with the final stage ideally taking place in person at our Marston Green office (close to Birmingham International), so you can meet the team in person.
