We are looking for an experienced Maritime / Cruise recruiter to join our London team – this position will hire for office‑based, shoreside roles only and candidates should have Cruise / Maritime / Shipping / Shipyard office‑based hiring experience. This is a specialist recruitment role within the EMEA Talent Connection Centre of Excellence, supporting hiring across Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI), Disney Cruise Line (DCL), and the wider Disney Experiences portfolio in EMEA office locations.
Responsibilities
- Managing end‑to‑end recruitment processes for assigned roles across Disney Cruise Line, Walt Disney Imagineering and wider Disney Experiences teams
- Recruiting for operational cruise line and maritime roles, including corporate, port‑based and shipyard‑based positions
- Supporting recruitment for WDI Project Manager and specialist roles based at Shipyard offices
- Selecting and executing the most effective recruitment strategies, including direct sourcing, headhunting, advertising, agencies and internal talent solutions
- Acting as a trusted recruitment partner to hiring managers, providing guidance on role scope, market conditions and sourcing approaches
- Attending resourcing briefings and advising on job design, role specifications and recruitment timelines
- Building and maintaining talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and relationship management
- Drafting engaging, on‑brand job advertisements that attract high‑quality and diverse candidates
- Conducting CV screening, pre‑screen interviews and candidate evaluations, using sound judgement and data‑led decision making
- Ensuring ATS, recruitment systems and data processes are fully utilised and remain GDPR‑compliant
- Promoting Disney’s employer brand through social media, networking and direct candidate engagement
- Developing effective partnerships with HR Business Partners and stakeholders across EMEA
- Contributing to EMEA‑wide COE initiatives and continuous improvement projects as required
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in end‑to‑end recruitment, gained in an in‑house, RPO or agency environment
- Experience recruiting within Maritime, Shipping or Cruise Line environments, including shoreside operational and corporate roles
- Strong experience with direct sourcing and headhunting, across specialist and hard‑to‑fill roles
- Confidence working in a fast‑paced, multinational, matrix organisation
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and AI‑enabled sourcing tools
- High attention to detail, strong prioritisation skills and a consistent focus on quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to recruiting for technical, engineering, project management or shipyard‑based roles
Language Skills
- Full business fluency in English (essential)
- German, Italian or French – a strong advantage
