About the Role & Team. The Disney+ Marketing Strategy Manager will be responsible for the development of the EMEA brand & content marketing strategy for Disney+, and act as the gatekeeper of the regional marketing strategy. They will support on creating a holistic brand strategy for Disney+ in EMEA that defines the Disney+ core brand KPIs and metrics, develops plans to successfully execute these KPIs and empowers the wider marketing team with strategic guidance. This role will work closely with the Insights & Analytics team to put the consumer first and ensure insight guides Disney+’s strategic decisions. Alongside the Insights & Analytics team they will take the lead on Disney+’s brand measurement framework tracking, and will support the Brand and Content Marketing teams to ensure every Disney+ campaign has a clear and connected strategy. They will connect the strategic thinking they do on Brand to the Acquisition and Retention team’s strategy, advocating for a 360 view of Disney+’s marketing approach. They will work with the EMEA market teams to understand the dynamics of each market and the strategic implications for the brand. They will also work closely with our in‑house creative team, creative agency and media agency to ensure all teams are pulling towards the same goal and understand our brand implicitly. They will support the team in all strategic projects, ensuring recommendations are connected to brand and business results, whilst also having strong project management skills to drive projects and efficient processes forward. They will be an excellent communicator, experienced at presenting to stakeholders at all levels and creating presentations for senior stakeholders. The individual will report into the Senior Marketing Strategy Manager EMEA and be a key advisor to the VP Marketing EMEA, Brand & Content Marketing Directors (UK & EMEA), Senior Brand & Content Marketing Managers (UK & EMEA), and work with the wider UK & EMEA marketing teams. This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

What You Will Do:
- Support the continual development of the marketing strategy for Disney+ across EMEA, collecting and managing inputs from across the region.
- Own the full Disney+ EMEA marketing sync plan, collating weekly inputs from across the region and being the expert on each market’s holistic annual plan & strategy.
- Support Disney+ EMEA’s quarterly and annual planning with insight-driven recommendations – working with both internal teams & our external media agency.
- Build relationships with local Disney+ marketing teams, managing all day-to-day comms and being the go-to contact for strategy & budget planning.
- Build and manage day-to-day relationship with EMEA strategy & planning teams at our media agency – working with them to develop comprehensive & effective media strategies, and continually looking for ways to optimise/implement best-in-class media plans across the region.
- Lead the marketing measurement framework workstream, collating & reviewing data inputs which inform all plans and activity, alongside our internal analytics team & media agency.
- Create presentations & reports for leadership team – using data & insight to build simple narratives for C-suite level stakeholders.
- Own & manage the spend reporting tools & systems which are used to inform all Disney+ marketing reports, used by leadership and x-EMEA teams on a weekly basis.
- Project management – overseeing campaign planning milestone process & other key marketing projects, whilst looking for process efficiencies & improvements throughout.
- Identify trends, challenges or opportunities across our upcoming marketing activities, and work with relevant internal teams to turn these into actionable plans for the EMEA marketing teams to execute.
- Support the Senior Marketing Manager with key business milestones for marketing – long-range planning and annual operation planning.
- Support the Senior Marketing Manager on the development of Disney+ EMEA’s marketing strategy ahead of each new fiscal year, using market context, business insights & data to inform the marketing strategy in line with Disney+’s business objectives.
- Collaborate with all Disney+ marketing functions – campaign teams, research, analytics, performance, commercial planning & finance – to bring all teams & functions together to inform optimal ways of working.
- Understand the direct competitive environment (TV, SVOD, Theatrical, Subscription Services), and apply analysis and insights to gain competitive advantage.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Marketing strategy experience at a manager level or equivalent.
- Experience developing C-suite presentations and strategic recommendations based on data.
- Budget management experience – must be comfortable working with large budgets.
- Experience working pan-EMEA with multiple markets, understanding market context and cultural nuances.
- Experience collaborating across teams, delivering through others, with senior, junior and peer stakeholders.
- Experience using Smartsheet or similar tools beneficial.
- Experience marketing content within the Entertainment industry preferable but not essential.
- Ability to process data & build a strategic recommendation, informing narratives across presentations.
- Must be comfortable working with large data sets – ideally with experience of building reports.
- Excel experience essential.
- Strong attention to detail is a must.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Project management – ability to balance strategic thinking, with driving projects forward.
- Ability to collaborate, motivate and inspire teams – both internally and with external agencies.
- Ability to build strong relationships and understand market and/or wider function’s challenges/POVs.
