Mechanical Engineering, part of the Central Engineering group at KLA, is critical to both our product groups and our customers. We are an award-winning group responsible for the end-to-end design, prototyping, testing, and delivery of innovative packaging solutions and a sophisticated product range.
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who is hands-on, self-motivated, and a great team player. The candidate will collaborate with multi-functional teams during the design process to detail packaging designs and procedures.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Working with Mechanical / Packaging engineers to capture requirements, design, test, document, and release packaging.
- Testing fit of packaging containers to ensure accurate fit and working with collaborators to identify handling and safety requirements.
- Performing tasks independently with good project management to meet deadlines.
- Advising internal customers or suppliers on efficient packaging procedures, materials, and protective systems.
- Maintaining relationships with regional suppliers as part of the wider packaging engineering team.

- Holds a BSc in Mechanical or Packaging Engineering
- Has experience with CREO Parametric 3D and Intralink software
- Has strong fundamentals in design principles, materials selection, and fabrication methods
- Knowledge of Electronic / Clean Room packaging is a plus
- Possesses good communication skills and presentation abilities
- Has hands-on mechanical skills
- Works well in a collaborative environment
This role may require international travel to the US for training.
