We're looking for an experienced Project Controls professional who also has a background in assessing. This role is best suited to someone who already has experience in both project environments and delivering high-quality assessment, rather than someone looking to move into assessment for the first time.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing learners across Level 3 and Level 6 Project Controls qualifications
  • Supporting learners to successfully achieve their qualifications
  • Managing your own caseload and tracking progress through e-portfolio systems
  • Maintaining accurate assessment records in line with Awarding Body requirements
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of learning and assessment materials
  • Supporting quality assurance processes, including standardisation and audits

Qualifications

  • Experience in Project Management or Project Controls
  • Experience assessing learners (this is essential)
  • Assessor qualification (CAVA / A1 / D32/33 or equivalent)
  • Understanding of accreditation and quality assurance processes
  • Ability to confidently support and challenge learners

Nice to have

  • Experience working with awarding bodies
  • Background in engineering or construction
  • Experience with e-portfolio systems
