About the Role: As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining site operations by overseeing engineering and maintenance repairs, handling breakdowns, and executing planned and preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Engineering and Maintenance repairs on-site, largely for Production Machinery and some building repairs.
  • Fixing rollers, small gearboxes, and small motors, as well as hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Support the team with machinery breakdowns as needed and contribute to some maintenance planning.
  • Ensure smooth operations across the site as part of a wider maintenance team.

About You: This position is ideal for a candidate with hands-on Mechanical experience, who is looking for a fantastic career opportunity within an industry-leading organisation. Experience in a fast-paced environment is desirable but not essential – if you have any Mechanical Maintenance experience, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Skills or Qualifications:

  • Time-Served Apprenticeship in Mechanical Maintenance or relevant discipline, or NVQ 3 as a minimum with related industry experience.
  • Desirable: Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, or fast-moving production machinery.
