We are committed to delivering consistently high standards while creating genuine opportunities for career progression across our teams.The Role We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team, with full accountability for site operations across the weekend.Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead manufacturing from Friday through Monday , covering the end of one production cycle and the start of the next. You will act as the senior escalation point for the entire site , with full ownership of operational performance during this period.This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role . You will spend significant time on the shop floor (circa 50%), leading teams, driving standards, and making real-time decisions to keep production moving.Key Responsibilities Deliver KPI performance across service, quality, and costLead day-to-day production across a large, complex manufacturing siteDrive performance, efficiency, and waste reductionTake ownership of labour and material cost controlAct as the senior escalation point for operational issuesIdentify root causes and implement sustainable fixesSupport NPD launches and product transitionsLead, coach, and develop Shift Managers and wider operational teamsDrive a culture of accountability and continuous improvementMaintain strong visibility and presence on the shop floorThe Scale Responsibility for 650-1200 employeesDirect oversight of 300+ employees on-site dailyProduction output of approximately 1.6 million meals per weekAbout You You will:Bring significant experience within food manufacturing (essential)Have led large teams in complex, high-volume environmentsDemonstrate a strong track record of improving performance and efficiencyShow strong commercial awareness , particularly labour and cost managementBe a proactive, action-oriented leader who drives accountabilityBe comfortable operating in a hands-on, highly visible roleHave experience in continuous improvement methodologies (desirable)Hold a Six Sigma Green Belt or similar qualification (desirable)Benefits 33 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays)Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme & Grocery AidCompany Pension SchemeBoparan Restaurant Group DiscountCycle2Work SchemeWhy Join Us?
