The Role
As a Skilled Production Operative, you will play a key role in our fast-paced food manufacturing operation, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with production, manufacturing, food processing or machine operating experience who are looking to develop their skills and progress their careers.
Key Responsibilities
As a Skilled Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and monitoring production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
- Supporting the smooth running of production lines to achieve daily targets
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, quality and hygiene
- Conducting routine equipment checks and reporting any issues promptly
- Following production specifications, processes and work instructions
- Minimising waste and maximising productivity across the operation
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and Team Leaders to meet operational goals
- Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities and best practice standards
What We're Looking For
We're seeking individuals who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing, production or processing environment
- Experience operating machinery or working in a skilled production role
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
- The ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required
- Flexibility to work shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn, develop and progress
